I made an end table to match my standing desk. Designed something with black powder coated steel legs and multiple levels of simple shelves, taking design queues from the style of the desk.
I was manipulated into making a cat tower for a couple of cats who are apathetic towards virtually everyone, but especially me. They plotted and leveraged my relationship with my mother-in-law to get me to do their bidding. I’m out here playing checkers and the cats are playing chess…
There’s been a really strong burning oil odor in the cabin of my 2004 e46 330xi. Opened the hood and saw oil leaking out from the valve cover gasket. This car’s problems just keep coming.
The scrap pile in my workshop was getting really out of hand so I made a scrap storage cart to organize things. Rather than reinventing the wheel, I deferred to this nice set of plans provided by Jackman Works. YouTube video available here.
I made my parents a cornhole set for Christmas! Took a lot of courage to make it Michigan State themed.
A couple of Christmas gifts I made for 2022. Also made the Cornhole Set, but that’s got its own post. We’ve got a bit edge grain cutting board and a tablet stand.
Kaylin and I recently had our 5 year anniversary, and I made her a jewelry box to celebrate. It’s a pretty special box and turned out great!
A batch of frames, including a frame for a print we bought in Kauai for Virginia, and an old print from a family trip we took out west in 2005.
A couple of small projects to help organize the kitchen. We’ve got a shelf that adds additional mug storage capacity, and a little rack for storing attachments for the stand mixer.
Time to change brakes and replace rear shocks on my BMW 2004 330xi. Replaced brake rotors and pads on all four wheels. After I took off the wheels I realized both rear coils where cracked (yikes!), so I replaced those as well. Everything went straight forward as far as I remember.
